Ron Belanger has been a wood worker, for many years and his guitar making pursuits began over 10 years ago with the desire for a fine instrument for his own musical pursuits. In 1998 Ron began building his first guitar – today he builds many types of string instruments for clients around the world.
Ron Belanger hand crafts a variety of stringed instruments. In addition to the 6 and 12 string models he also hand crafts Irish Bouzoukis, Resonator Guitars, and Hawaiian Lap-Steel Guitars. All guitars have many options to choose from and many additional upgrades including specialty wood and pick-ups.
Ron Belanger guitars use Mahogany, Indian Rosewood and Maple as the three standard wood choices. Figured Koa, Figured Bubinga, Cocobolo, Mun Ebony, and Zirkote African Blackwood are just a few woods from a large variety you can upgrade to when building your instrument.
